How Seal Beach got Agency Buy-In with their unique brand of transparency and engagement.
As social media becomes one of law enforcement’s most powerful tools for transparency, connection, and recruitment, success depends on more than just good content — it requires internal buy-in. This presentation explores how Seal Beach got agency buy-in with its unique brand of transparency and engagement. These strategies helped build support across all levels of the organization, from command staff to frontline personnel.
Attendees will learn how to:
- Communicate the value and purpose of social media to internal stakeholders.
- Address common concerns about risk, image, and time investment.
- Build trust through transparency and storytelling.
- Turn skeptics into advocates by showing real-world impact.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or growing an established program, this session offers practical ways to strengthen organizational confidence and make social media a shared, supported effort.
